Jet’s Pizza Delivery Driver Victim of Armed Robbery

REDFORD TOWNSHIP, MI – The Redford Police Department is investigating armed_robbery1the robbery of a Jet’s Pizza delivery driver that occurred Saturday night in the 9900 block of Grayfield.

The victim was making a delivery to a residence when he made contact with two males posing as customers. One of the males grabbed the victim and the other male produced a handgun and demanded the victim’s money.The victim lawfully possessed a firearm and shot at the suspects.

The uninjured victim fled the area and called 911. The suspects also fled the area in a waiting vehicle. One suspect was later located at a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and another suspect was arrested last night.

The injured suspect, Clarence Sanders 27 yrs old of Detroit, was arraigned yesterday in the hospital on the charge of Robbery Armed.

A warrant request is being prepared on the 2nd suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
