Two Arrested in Family Dollar Armed Robberies

DEARBORN, MI – Two suspects have been arrested and a third is being sought after in the string of Family Dollar armed robberies that have taken place across metro Detroit.

Two people are in custody and they are suspects in at least five armed robberies, possibly more.

On November 16th, 2014, two suspects entered the Family Dollar store located in the 10100 block of W. Seven Mile who were wearing all dark clothing with bandannas over their faces.  Surveillance photos were released to the public.

Local and federal investigators made the arrests based on tips that they received after our readers saw the photos of those involved.  Those very tips that followed helped authorities make the arrests.

The suspects are expected to face charges in Federal Court this week.?

Another Family Dollar was robbed on December 29th, 2014 in Redford.  Authorities need your help again to get that suspect off the streets.
