LANSING, MI – Governor Rick Snyder is joining the effort to SMASH SMA! SMA – or spinal muscular atrophy – is a deadly genetic disease that affects motor neuron cells in the spinal cord, impacting one’s ability to walk, eat or breathe.
Stephen Clark of Detroit’s WXYZ and his granddaughter, Scarlet, who is battling SMA, have inspired Governor Snyder to do what he can to help. Watch the video and see what the governor ‘smashed’ to help in the fight against SMA!
