ALPENA, MI – The AMBER Alert that was issued on Monday for 3-year-old Keegan Waterman has been cancelled. He and his mother were spotted in Muncie, Indiana.
Michigan State Police Lt. Scott Woodard has confirmed the status of the alert.
A U.S. Postal Service worker in Muncie, Ind. saw Christina Waterma and Keegan in a vehicle.
The child was OK with his mother. The Amber Alert has been canceled because they are not in Michigan anymore. Police have not made contact with Waterman.
Authorities say there is no indication that Keegan is endangered or that any criminal violation has been committed. As a result, the AMBER Alert for Keegan was cancelled around 1:40 p.m. Wednesday.
Michigan State Police are still investigating the incident as a missing person complaint until the welfare of the little boy can be properly verified. Police would like for Christina Waterman to take Keegan to the nearest law enforcement agency and have them confirm his welfare.

The 3-year-old boy and his mother who were last seen Sunday in Alpena Township. Keegan Waterman was reported missing from his home in the 2600 block of East Grant Street on Monday.
He and his mother, who does not have legal custody of the little boy, may be in route to Tennessee, North Carolina or Arizona in a 2000 tan colored Chevrolet Tahoe with a license plate of Tennessee U4758V.
