DETROIT, MI – Highland Park police are investigating a shooting of a crossed-dressed man.
A man who was dressed in women’s clothing was found in the middle of the street in the area of McNichols and John R. at the Highland Park and Detroit border on Wednesday, October 7th, 2015.
It is unclear at this time if this individual is alive or deceased.
This is the second shooting of a man dressed in women’s clothing to be shot within a week in Detroit.
The first person was found on Monday, October 5th, 2015, shot to death in the area of Arizona and Brush Streets before 6:30 a.m. The man was found shot to death dressed in women’s clothing. Police at the time did not believe the victim’s personal life played a role in the murder.

The individual is from West Bloomfield. This person is 30 years old. The victim remains in the hospital in critical condition.
It is unclear still at this time if this person is transgender or a man who is a cross-dresser. The victim was dropped off by a friend in the area of McNichols and John R. at the Highland Park and Detroit border on Wednesday, October 7th, 2015 to buy drugs. When the victim did not return after a short time, the friend found the victim shot between two houses and not in the street as first reported.
