3 Sentenced to Prison in Leelanau County

LEELANAU COUNTY, MI – On Monday, November 2nd, 2015, 3 individuals were sentenced in 13th Circuit Court to time in the Michigan Department of Corrections.

Craig P. Anderson, 53-years-old, of Traverse City, was sentenced to 18 months to 10 years in prison for violation his terms of probation from an original charge of Operating While Intoxicated 3rd Offense from 2013.

William C. Conklin, 26-years-old, of Suttons Bay, was sentenced to 3.5 years to 7 years in prison for Using a Computer to Commit a Crime.

In July of 2015, Conklin pleaded not guilty to several charges in connection with allegedly using computer pornography to entice a child under the age of 16 to have sex with him.

Conklin was on probation from convictions that he received for Home Invasion – 1st Degree – Attempt, Breaking & Entering a Building With Intent, Police Officer – Assault/Resist/Obstruct – Attempt.  He had a plea deal on those charges for a 5 yer sentence.

Joseph E. Robinson, 33-years-old, of Cedar, was senteced to 18 months to 10 years in prison for Possession of Methamphetimine.
