DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying two male suspects wanted in connection with an arson to a building that occurred on the city’s eastside.
On December 10, 2015, at approximately 2:05 a.m., on the 1500 block of East State Fair, the Sea of Liquor Party Store, was set on fire by two unknown suspects. The suspects were captured on video surveillance working together to set fire to the location.
The video shows one of suspects pouring an accelerant into the front of the building. The other suspect is seen acting as a look out person while this was being done. After the building was set on fire, the suspects fled the location on foot. Several units from the Detroit Fire Department along with Highland Park Fire Department responded to extinguish the fire. Once the fire was extinguished the damage was found to be extensive and the entire inside of the building was destroyed.
The suspects are describe as one black male and one white male.
