Detroit Police Seek Assistance to Solve Sexual Assault Case

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in a sexual assault and armed robbery case that occurred within the city.Detroit Criminal Sexual Conduct

On Friday, February 19th, 2016 at approximately 8:00 p.m., in the 15800 block of W. McNichols, an armed suspect approached a female victim who was sitting inside her vehicle. The suspect forced the victim to let him inside the vehicle and drive to the area of Forrer and Verne, where he sexually assaulted her, then stole her purse.

The suspect is described as a black male, 24-25 years-old, medium build, medium complexion, dark brown eyes, a thin mustache, tapered low cut afro hairstyle, wearing a black sweater, black pants and a black Gucci belt. The suspect was armed with a handgun.
