St. Clair County Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Arrest

KIMBALL TOWNSHIP, MI – The St. Clair County Drug Task Force made three arrests last night, Tuesday, April 6th, 2016, following a traffic stop in Kimball Township.Meth Bust

The DTF conducted an investigation into the sales of methamphetamine in the Kimball Township area.  That investigation led to a traffic stop on a vehicle at Griswold and Omar Roads Tuesday night at about 11:30.  A search of the vehicle discovered the location and seizure of $3000 worth of methamphetamine, along with marijuana, cash and cell phones.

The three people arrested were two women from Port Huron, ages 28 and 26 and a 30 year old Port Huron man.  They are expected to face charges including possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a drug vehicle and being a habitual offender.

The St. Clair County Road Patrol, Port Huron Police K-9 Unit and U.S. Border Patrol K-9 Unit assisted at the scene of the traffic stop.
