Kevin Wiley is believed to still be in the greater Detroit area at this time.
Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 100 block of Ridgemont on the report of a possible homicide. The complainant, who is mother of the victim, found her daughter, Marie Elizabeth Colburn, 30-years-old, of Pontiac, deceased and stuffed inside a closet of her apartment.
Attached to the front door of the apartment was a notice from the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) who had attempted to make contact with the victim’s boyfriend. MDOC was contacted by OCSO detectives who advised that the victim’s boyfriend, Kevin Jermaine Wiley, 33-years-old, of Pontiac, had cut off his GPS tether somewhere in the City of Detroit.
Wiley is on parole for Manslaughter on a conviction from Wayne County. The victim’s car was missing from the home and found in Detroit. The car was impounded by Detroit PD and TOT the OCSO Forensic Lab for processing.
The Sheriff’s Fugitive Apprehension Team is looking for the Kevin Wileyat this time.
There is a $2,000 reward for information leading to his arrest. He is currently wanted by the MDOC as a parole absconder and is a suspect in this homicide.
