Vehicle of Missing Livingston County Mother and Daughter Found

YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, MI – At approximately 6:00pm this evening, Wednesday, May 11th, 2016, a Hamburg Township police officer assigned to the Livingston and Washtenaw Narcotics Enforcement Team (LAWNET) located the black 2001 Chevrolet Prizm that Amanda Hayward and her daughter were last seen leaving their residence in. breaking-news

UPDATE: Missing Hamburg Mother and Daughter Found

Hayward’s Prizm was found Wednesday evening at an apartment complex in Washtenaw County’s Ypsilanti Township and was unoccupied. Family members said Hayward has a friend that used to live in Ypsilanti.

According to her father, Darryl Hayward, Amanda had been recently suffering from paranoia. Her mental health has been declining.  She was thinking that someone was watching her.

The investigation and search is still ongoing and further information will be forthcoming.
