PARMA TOWNSHIP, MI – Sheriff Steve Rand reports on Monday, May 23rd, 2016, at 4 pm, Deputies from the Jackson County Office of Sheriff responded to the 16000 block of Devereaux Road in Parma Township for a hit and run crash injuring a 4-year-old boy.
A vehicle struck the child and fled the scene.
The 4-year-old boy crossed the road to check the mailbox. The boy was crossing back over the road when he was struck by an unknown vehicle traveling west on Devereaux Road. The vehicle left the scene without stopping.
The only vehicle information at this time is possibly a white vehicle.
The young boy was transported to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital with serious injuries.
