Former Inkster Fire Chief Charged in Domestic Violence Cases

It is alleged that on Thursday, May 26th, 2016, at approximately 9:55 p.m., Adams attempted to force his wife to unlock her phone.  During the exchange, she sustained injury to her right wrist.

On April 19, 2016, at approximately 8:00 p.m., it is also alleged that the defendant and the victim got into an argument that escalated to physical assault. Both incidents occurred at their Canton home.

Adams has been arraigned, and a pre-trial is scheduled for both cases for June 10, 2016 at
8:30 a.m. before Judge Michael Gerou in 35th District Court. The defendant received a
$100,000 cash/surety bond.
