Erica Jackson posted the following:

“My little brother just didn’t deserve this and neither does my family!!

Jamiel Jackson was an outgoing, ambitious driven, loving, caring young man that always loved to smile and have fun. He was and will always be loved by his parents and siblings. We Love him! and because his killer has not been brought to justice the family continues to suffer and seeks justice for closure.

Jamiel graduated from high school in 2013 where he was a very active student and athlete that attended college after high school. Jamiel never lived to see his future play out in his life because he was later found murdered that following year in Highland Park, MI near Tyler and Broadstreet on December 20th, 2014 at the age of 19. If someone out there knows something or may have seen something, please call crime stoppers.”
