Detroit Police seek assistance regarding Comerica Bank Robbery (Video)

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for an armed robbery of a Comerica Bank that occurred on the west side of Detroit.

On Friday, August 5th, 2016 at approximately 3:35 p.m., a suspect, who claimed to be armed, entered the bank and passed a note to the cashier demanding money. The suspect is described as a black male in his 50’s, 5’10”, 170 lbs., braided salt and pepper hair pulled back, mustache, and having a medium complexion. The suspect was wearing glasses, a blue shirt and gray pants. The clerk complied with the suspect’s request, and he escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.

There were no injuries reported.
