Greektown Casino-Hotel donates 500 coats to Goodwill

DETROIT, MI – If the first few weeks of December are any indication, Detroit is in for a brutally cold winter.  As such, it’s crucial that warm coats be available for ALL Detroiters.

To do their part, Greektown Casino-Hotel team members joined together to spread holiday cheer by collecting 500 coats to donate to Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit.

Today, during Greektown Casino-Hotel’s tree-judging ceremony, Greektown’s CEO and General Manager Jason Gregorec, along with the rest of the Greektown team, gave the collected coats to Goodwill.

The tree-judging ceremony featured trees decorated by Greektown team members and were judged by special guests including Detroit Police Chief James Craig, Former Detroit Lions star Herman Moore and the Detroit Free Press columnist Rochelle Riley. The trees were also donated to Goodwill along with the 500 coats.
