64 yr old Detroit Man with Dementia and Parkinsons Disease reported as Missing [Updated]

UPDATE:  J.T. Worthy’s family has notified MI Headlines that he has been located and is safe as of 11:00 p.m. on January 21st, 2017.

DETROIT, MI – A 64-year-old Detroit man who suffers from  Dementia and Parkinson’s Disease has been reported as missing and authorities are asking for help from the public to locate him. He is listed as a Serious Missing Person.

J.T. Worthy Sr. was last seen by his daughter-in-law on January 19, 2017 at their home in the 10000 block of Chatham.  His daughter-in-law reported that she gave Mr. Worthy Sr. his medication at 1 p.m. and when she checked on him at 3 p.m., he was gone.

Mr. Worthy Sr. is described as a 64-year old black male, 5’7”, 150lbs., dark complexion, short black and salt and pepper hair. He was last seen wearing a tan jacket, blue shirt, and green Nike pants with neon stripes down the middle on both sides.

Mr. Worthy Sr. is in good physical condition but walks slowly and suffers from dementia and Parkinson disease.
