3 Family Members Identified in Eaton County Fatal Car Crash

OLIVET, MI – The individuals who were involved in a fatal car wreck in Eaton County have been identified.  All of them are identified as family members.

On Saturday, February 18th, 2017, at 7:26 a.m., Eaton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a personal injury accident located near I-69 and Ainger Road in Walton Township.

This was a one car accident that started on the off ramp from southbound I-69 to Ainger Road. The vehicle, a blue Ford pickup, left the roadway while exiting and crashed in a swampy, wooded area. There were three occupants in the vehicle.

Kevin Hass, 63-years-old, of Linden, Kimberley Trasciatti, 66-years-old, of Howell and Lorraine Hass, 88-years-old, of Hartland were all killed as a result of the accident.

Two were ejected from the vehicle.

Two of the occupants were pronounced dead at the scene, and one was transported to the hospital but later pronounced deceased.

The ECSO Accident Team and Detective Bureau is investigating.
