Four Arrested in Huron County during Drug Investigation

SEBEWAING, MI – Yesterday, Tuesday, March 21st, 2017,  while Huron County Sheriff’s Deputies were working on information about the sale of illegal drugs in the Village of Sebewaing, four individuals were eventually arrested.

The first two were arrested during a traffic stop at Main St. and Beck St., on felony charges for the sale of heroin and crack cocaine. They were a 42 year old husband with an extensive felony criminal history and his 37 year old wife, both from Saginaw. A search warrant was then served at a W. Sebewaing St. address, which resulted in the arrest of a 42 year old Sebewaing woman and a 27 year old Sebewaing man for the same. In all, a Saturn Vue, nearly $500 in cash and heroin and crack were seized.

All were transported to jail and lodged on felony charges. They are expected to be arraigned this afternoon on formal charges issued by the Huron County Prosecutor’s Office. As of press time though, the Saginaw man’s bond is $50,000 cash, his wife’s is $350 and the Sebewaing man and woman need $20,000 cash per person in order to post bond
