Battle Creek Teen Shot in Face

BATTLE CREEK, MI – Battle Creek City Police are investigating the shooting of an 18-year-old that occurred on Tuesday, April 4th, 2017 at approximately 9:30 p.m.

The incident occurred outside in the sidewalk area of Cliff St. and Mott St.

The victim was transported by bystanders to the hospital for treatment. The victim is in stable condition.

The suspect fired at least rounds at the victim with one hitting the 18-year-old. It is unknown if the victim and suspect are known to each other. There were other subjects with the teenager and suspect that are unidentified. The suspect is still at large.

The suspect can be identified as a skinny, short, young, black male.
