Detroit Police looking for Gunman from Two non-fatal Shooting Scenes

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police are reporting that two separate shootings occurred Wednesday evening, April 20th, 2017 in the city.

At 9:20 PM in the 1300 block Lenox a 21 year old man was shot.  The victim was standing in front of a home in the 1300 block of Lenox when a white older model Chevrolet Impala drove up and began shooting.

The suspect attempted to run up the driveway, however he was struck once in the right leg. Medics conveyed the victim to the hospital.

Police are looking for two black males, riding in a white older model Chevrolet Impala.

Then at approximately 10:00 PM, in the 14000 Block of Mapleridge two men, one 53 years old and the other who is 26  years old were working on a vehicle in the street in front of this location when a Dodge Magnum silver in color drove up and a Black male dressed in all black exited the vehicle and shot both victims multiple times with an assault type rifle. The vehicle then escaped on Mapleridge toward Gratiot.

Victim #1 was conveyed to the hospital by medics, and Victim #2 was privately conveyed to the hospital. This shooting is non-fatal at the moment.   The suspect is described as a black male wearing all black, driving a silver Dodge Magnum.
