Two Teens Walk Away from Children’s Village in Oakland County

PONTIAC, MI – Two teens, one 15-year-old boy from Auburn Hills and a 17-year-old boy from Commerce Township, are on the run after they walked away from Children’s Village in Pontiac Wednesday evening, April 19th, 2017.

Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies assigned to the County Government Complex responded to Children’s Village for a report of two Truants who walked away from the facility.  The staff advised they had left approximately 15 minutes prior to them contacting the Sheriff’s Operations Center for assistance.

Additional deputies responded, along with the Waterford Township Police Department to establish a perimeter.  The area was checked with but the two teens were not located.

Staff at Children’s Village will petition the Juvenile Court and obtain Orders to Take into Custody (OTTIC) for both subjects.  Both subjects were entered into LEIN as missing at this time.
