Wave of Home Invasions hits Washtenaw County

SUPERIOR TOWNSHIP, MI – A recent wave of Home Invasions has hit Washtenaw County in the past week.

On April 24th, 2017 there were two home invasions that were reported for that previous weekend.  Today another four are being reported.  Three of those are within the same general area.

On April 25th at 2:55am deputies responded to the report of a home invasion in the 900 block of S. Harris in Ypsilanti Township.  Sometime between 12:30am and 2:50am on April 25th suspect(s) forcibly pried out the back door window and entered the residence.  Suspect(s) then stole a large sum of cash, prescription medication and an AR15 rifle.  Investigation ongoing.

On April 25th at 12:00pm deputies responded to the report of a home invasion in the 8300 block of Stamford in Superior Township.  Sometime between 4:00pm on April 24th and 8:00am on April 25th suspect(s) entered the residence (under construction) through an unknown location and stole a Lennox air conditioning unit and Lennox furnace.  Investigation ongoing.

On April 25th at 12:00pm deputies responded to the report of a home invasion in the 8300 block of Stamford in Superior Township. Sometime between 4:00pm on April 24th and 8:00am on April 25th suspect(s) entered the residence through an unlocked basement window and stole a Lennox air conditioning unit and Lennox furnace.  Investigation ongoing.

On April 25th at 12:24pm deputies responded to the report of a home invasion in the 8300 block of Stamford in Superior Township.. Sometime between 4:00pm on April 24th and 8:00am on April 25th suspect(s) entered the residence by prying off a piece of plywood and entering through a window. Suspect(s) then stole a Lennox air conditioning unit and Lennox furnace. Investigation ongoing.
