Oakland County Sheriff continues to search for Bank Robbery Suspect

PONTIAC, MI – On Friday March 31st, 2017, at 12:21 p.m., Oakland County Sheriffs Deputies responded to the PNC bank on N. Perry near Glenwood for an attempt bank robbery.

Upon arriving, Deputies were advised a black male entered the bank and presented the teller with a note demanding money. The teller then walked away from the area and the subject fled out of the bank on foot with no money. A gun was implied but not seen. A K-9 track was attempted with were unable to locate him. No money was taken.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Forensic Lab was contacted to process the scene, along with the FBI and detectives from the Pontiac substation.

The incident was caught on in-house surveillance.
