Lansing Man Arrested for Possession of Child Porn

LANSNG, MI – A joint investigation by the Michigan State Police (MSP) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and the FBI has resulted in the arrest of a Lansing man in Iowa.

James Hunsucker, 43-years-old, was taken into custody by police in Des Moines on Thursday April 13th, 2017.

The investigation stemmed from digital and printed evidence as well as Hunsucker’s online activity. The crimes are believed to have occurred in 2010. A Crime Stoppers tip, and assistance from MSP’s First District Fugitive Team, led investigators to Hunsucker in Iowa.

He has been charged with one count of child sexually abusive activity, one count of possession of child sexually abusive activity and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He has been arraigned in 54A District Court in Ingham County. Bond was set at $100,000.
