Possible Criminal Charges after Crash injures Pregnant Woman in Sanilac County

YALE, MI – Three people, including a pregnant woman, were injured in a crash in Sanilac County Tuesday afternoon.

On Tuesday June 6th, 2017, at approximately 5:08 p.m., a personal injury accident involving two vehicles occurred on Galbraith Line Road at the intersection of Todd Road.

According to Deputy Luke Zeller, a witness stated that a 2011 Maroon Subaru was southbound on Todd Road and failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a 2012 Silver Chrysler Minivan traveling on Galbraith Line. The Subaru was being driven by a 65-year-old woman from Croswell and her passenger was her 63-year-old husband. The Minivan was being driven by a pregnant 33-year-old woman from Brown City.

All subjects were treated on scene by Croswell EMS and transported to McLaren Port Huron Hospital for further treatment.

Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted on scene by the Croswell Fire Department.

The accident remains under investigation and the names of the parties involved are being withheld pending possible criminal charges.
