LANSING, MI – The Michigan Department of Education’s Summer Food Service Program wants parents and caregivers to know that children under the age of 18 can still get free meals.
Just because summer is winding down doesn’t mean the meal sites are. There is still time to visit a Meet Up and Eat site and receive a free meal for children under the age of 18.
Make sure to visit a site before school starts again.
About the Summer Food Service Program
Meet Up and Eat Up is a way to help parents and caregivers identify places where kids 18 and younger can gather for healthy, free summer meals at hundreds of sites across Michigan. They are encouraging you to share their updates with your family and friends. You can find a meal site here.
