Two men Shot and Killed on Detroit’s East side near E. Forrest Ave and Cooper Street

DETROIT, MI – Two men were shot and killed on Detroit’s east side early Saturday morning near E. Forrest Ave and Cooper Street.

On October 28th, 2017 at about 12:45AM when police arrived they found two men dead from gun shot wounds. One of those men laying on the ground had a 9 millimeter pistol in his hand. Both victims were dead on scene.

Police are actively trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. They could be heard communicating with 9-1-1 Central Dispatch via the police scanner requesting resources after arriving at the crime scene.

The victims are two men who are both in their mid 20’s to early 30’s. The two men were found shot to death in the 4700 block of Cooper Street.

One of those men is being identified on social media by his screen name as Cane Prolific.
