Suspected Shooter from Auto Parts Store Murder Arrested

DETROIT, MI –  23-year-old Shawnta Sharee Anderson has been arrested in southwest Detroit on November 6th, 2017. She had been sought after in the murder of James Haller, 70-years-old, the manager at an O’Reilly Auto Parts store on Schaefer Highway.

Detroit Police are on scene at Milford & Colfax where they did in fact locate the suspect at about 9:00PM. Shawnta Anderson is believed to be the person who shot and killed James Haller on Wednesday evening, November 1st, 2017.

Detroit Police are continuing to look for is Eboni Monae Mcewen-Ross, 28-years-old, of Detroit. She is the second person who police believed to have robbed the auto parts store of about $100 and that took the life of a 70-year-old man

A search of records shows that Eboni Ross last resided on the 3200 block of Fullerton Avenue on Detroit’s west side. That is in the area of Livernois and W Davison St.

If anyone has seen this individual or knows of her whereabouts, or has seen this vehicle, they are asked to please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up. There is a reward of up to $12,000 being offered. $10,000 of the reward is coming from O’Reilly.
