Man Pleads Guilty to CSC Charges in Hines Park Attack

DETROIT, MI – Floyd Galloway, the person charged in connection with the sexual assault of a woman in Hines Park in Livonia, today plead guilty to kidnapping with a sentence agreement of 16 to 35 years in prison.

He also pleaded guilty to Assault with Intent to commit Criminal Sexual Conduct -Penetration and Assault by Strangulation with a sentence agreement of 6.5-10 years on both counts which will run concurrently to the kidnapping charge. He must lifetime SORA registration, sex offender counseling and no contact with victim.

Prosecutor Kym Worthy saiid, “We are very pleased that the defendant chose to accept responsibility for the crimes that he committed.”

Sentencing is scheduled for December 8, 2017 at 9 a.m. before Judge Mark Slavens.
