FORT WAYNE, IN – U.S. Marshals and the Fort Wayne Police Gang Unit arrested two men wanted for a murder in Detroit.
Quantry Brown, 18-years-old, was arrested after U.S. Marshals received information that he had family in the Fort Wayne area. He was taken into custody on Wednesday December 27th, 2017.
A second man, Lamont Carpenter, 20-years-old was arrested last week in Fort Wayne by the Fort Wayne Police Gang Unit. He was taken into custody on Thursday December 21st.
Brown and Carpenter are being charged with murder, armed robbery and felony firearm in connection with an October 25th shooting at an apartment building during a marijuana deal gone bad. Aaron Beasley, 29-years-old, was shot and killed at an apartment building on West Grand Boulevard.
