Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 12:00 PM EST

DETROIT, MI – Southeast Michigan is under a Winter Weather Advisory until 12:00 pm on Wednesday February 7th, 2018.

Your morning commute to work will be effected by falling snow. You are advised to leave early and take precautions on the roads.

Snow, with peak rates up to half an inch per hour during the early morning rush hour. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches are expected with isolated 4 inch totals possible.

* WHERE…St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe Counties.

* WHEN…Through noon EST Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on snow covered and slippery road condition. Be prepared for reduced visibilities under 1 mile at times. Motorists should expect travel delays during the morning commute.
