Person of Interest in Custody

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police have taken into custody a man that they were calling a Person of Interest in a fatal shooting on the city’s west side.

Danny Robinson is currently on probation.  Based on records from the Michigan Department of Corrections, Robinson  was previously convicted for:

Breaking &Entering – Entry Without Breaking With Intent
Breaking & Entering a Building With Intent
Unlawfully Driving Away an Automobile
Stolen Property – Receiving and Concealing – Motor Vehicle

DPD states “Thanks to our media partners for airing this information. As a result, the Person of Interest turned himself into the third precinct. Danny Robinson was taken into custody on unrelated charges (felony warrant).

The investigation relating to the fatal victim is still ongoing.
