Two Thumb Area Men Arrested on Felony Charges

BAD AXE, MI – Yesterday, as the result of a lengthy investigation involving illegal drug activity, Huron County Sheriff’s Deputies with the assistance of the Sanilac County Drug Task Force, arrested a 32-year-old Decker man at his home and served a search warrant regarding his vehicle.

Christopher J. Kulinski was taken into custody and transported to the Huron County jail on a felony warrant previously obtained by our office for the delivery of crack cocaine.

Christopher Kulinski’s PT Cruiser was impounded. Later while talking to Deputies, it was learned Mr. Kulinski also was involved in one home invasion on Stein Rd. in Colfax Twp., a breaking and entering to a shed at the same address and a breaking and entering to a store in Meade Twp.

Those incidents took place between August 19th and 24th of last year.

Felony warrants were obtained for all three incidents today and he was arraigned this afternoon, needing $2,000 to be released.

Also today, 31-year-old Aaron Herrington of Bad Axe was arrested and arraigned on the Stein Rd. shed felony breaking and entering previously referred to. His bond was set at $1000 on that charge and he remains lodged in our jail on it and others from weeks earlier.
