LANSING, MI – On Wednesday, July 4th, 2018, at approximately 8:10 p.m., the Lansing Police Department was dispatched to the 1000 block of Greenwood in regards to a stabbing that found Kelly Moubray severely injured.
Upon arrival officers they located a woman with an apparent stab wound to the chest. The Lansing Fire Department responded and transported the victim to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Despite the best efforts of the first responders and hospital staff, the victim did not survive her injuries.
The victim is identified as, Kelly Moubray, 50-years-old, of Lansing.
A 50-year-old man from Lansing, was taken into custody at the scene for probable cause for Murder.
Lansing Police Detectives will be submitting a warrant request today to the Ingham County Prosecutors Office for review. This is being classified as a Domestic Violence Homicide Investigation.
