Help Identify West side Armed Robbery Suspect

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection to an armed robbery that occurred on the city’s west side.

On Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at approximately 4:45 a.m., the suspect entered the BP Gas station located in the 15000 block of West 7 Mile, bumped the victim as he was standing at the counter. The suspect immediately pointed two hand guns at the victim and demanded money. The suspect continued to point the guns at the victim as he ordered him to empty his pockets. The victim took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency from the ATM machine located inside the store and handed it to the suspect. The suspect exited the location and fled on foot in an unknown direction.
No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a B/M/ 20’s-30’s, 6’2”, skinny build, medium brown complexion, wearing a dirty white or grey T-shirt, light blue jeans (older style very huge and baggy) with old brown lace up shoes. The suspect possibly got into a Chevy silver Equinox 4 door, unknown on plate information that was near the alley.
