Detroit Police asking for Help to Identify Arson Suspect [Video]


DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department’s Fire Arson Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying an unknown suspect wanted in connection with an Arson of an local business on the city’s west side.

On Saturday, November 19, 2018 at approximately 5:10 a.m., in the 15300 block of Fenkell, an unknown suspect entered the location then poured liquid substance onto the floor. Prior to leaving, the suspect produced a lighter, ignited the liquid then fled. There was a male witness inside of the location but sustained no injuries. He was able to flee unharmed. No injuries reported.

The Suspect is described as a black male, medium brown complexion, clean face, wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt underneath, dark colored jeans, and black shoes.

There could be up to $5,000 reward paid for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
