Captain Jay’s Donates Food to Federal Employees Affected by the Government Shutdown

DEARBORN, MI – Captain Jays Fish and Chicken Enterprise in the  Detroit Metropolitan area and consistent with its good programs will be providing and serving 150  free meals to TSA  employees at the McNamara- Detroit Metro Airport on Saturday morning at 10:00a.m., January 26, 2019.Captain Jays

This symbolic gesture of goodwill is a small token of appreciation to federal employees affected by the government shutdown.  Captain Jay’s restaurants extend this small gesture as a symbol of appreciation of the work of federal employees and in solidarity with them. Captain Jays encourages all fellow business and citizens to extend a gesture of good will to our fellow Federal employees.

“We greatly appreciate the sacrifices of federal employees who have been working without pay to ensure the safety of us all,” said Abdallah Sheik, CEO of Captain Jay’s Fish and Chicken. “We should ALL do what we can to help unpaid federal employees during this shutdown,” continued Mr. Sheik.

Captain Jays hopes that the government shutdown ends soon so that our Federal employees can resume their normal lives free from the hardship of economic pressure and uncertainty.

Captain Jays extends its appreciation to the American Muslim Leadership Council, the American Human Rights Council, the Islamic Center of Detroit and the Dearborn Community Center for their support and assistance in this gesture of good will.
