Two Suspects Wanted on Unarmed Eastside Robbery

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted in connection to an unarmed robbery that occurred on the city’s eastside.

On Thursday, February 21, 2019 at approximately 5:13 p.m., the 20 year old male was waiting outside for a bus in the 19000 block of Van Dyke. Suspect # 1 approached the victim, said some words and took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency from the victim’s hand. The victim was not injured during this incident.

Suspect # 1 fled the scene on foot to the 8000 block of East Seven mile Rd. where he entered an older model beige Chevy Tahoe along with suspect # 2.

Suspect # 1 is described as a black male, medium brown complexion, last seen wearing a red hat, black, or blue T-shirt with “Hilfiger” written on the front and black jeans.

Suspect # 2 is described as a black male wearing a red Chicago Bulls Jacket and red pants.
