Detroit Police seek information on Harper Ave Fatal Shooting [Video]

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two unknown suspects wanted in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s east side.

On Monday, March 4, 2019 at approximately 3:10 a.m., in the 10000 block of Harper, a 33-year-old man was sitting in his 2001, White, Chevrolet, Monte Carlo parked on Harper & Cadillac. While the vehicle was parked, two unknown suspects walked towards the victim’s parked vehicle then turned around and entered a small dark colored four door vehicle.

Approximately one minute later the same vehicle pulled up directly next to the victim’s vehicle. The front seat passenger then got out approached the driver’s side of the victim’s parked vehicle, produced a handgun and began firing striking the victim. The victim then drove off and stopped off at a Project Green Light Detroit Gas Station in the 9100 of Chalmers where 911 was called. The suspects fled north bound Hurlburt.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died.

The first suspect is described as a Black, male, approximately 30 years of age, 5’10”-5’11”, slim build,
wearing a black hoodie with a baseball cap.

There is no description for the second suspect.

The suspect vehicle is described as a Small dark colored four door vehicle occupied by four individuals.
