Suspect Sought After in East side Shooting and Assault of 2 Women

DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police want you to take a good look at the attached photographs in hope that you can help them identify and locate a suspect in a non-fatal shooting and assault that occurred on the east side of the city.

The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a suspect wanted in connection to a homicide that occurred on the city’s east side.

On Sunday, June 23rd, 2019, at approximately 6:26 p.m., in the 5000 block of Harold St., a 21-year-old woman was shot and a 22-year-old woman was assaulted.

It is reported that the victims were picked up by the suspect earlier that day in a black Jeep Cherokee. The suspect drove the victims to an alley where the suspect began shooting at the victims. Both victims were conveyed to the hospital and listed in critical condition.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 yrs. old, slim build, dark complex, Dred lock braided hair.
