Thousands of Dollars in Drugs Stolen from Pontiac Pharmacy [Video]

PONTIAC, MI – Four unknown suspects broke into a medical center and pharmacy on July 30th, 2019 at approximately 5:00AM and stole several thousands of dollars worth of drugs.

Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Baldwin Family Medical Center located in the 1000 block of Baldwin Rd for an exterior and interior alarm. Upon their arrival, Deputies discovered that the main entrance had been forced open as well as the door to the Pine Knob Pharmacy. Deputies entered the building and searched the Pharmacy for intruders but there were no suspects found inside the building.

A representative of the business was notified of the break-in. Officers requested that he come to the crime to assist them in determining what had been taken. The Pharmacy representative advised Deputies that upon conducting a preliminary inventory it appears that Oxycodone, Promethazine with Codeine, Morphine and Xanax were all stolen from the Pharmacy.

Deputies reviewed security camera footage taken from inside the building. The surveillance video shows four suspects inside the pharmacy with their faces covered. They were wearing hooded sweat jackets and gloves. They entered the Pharmacy carrying a large bag and by using a crowbar to pry the door open.

The area around the building was checked for any possible evidence and/or suspects but nothing significant was located. Detectives were notified and will be continuing with the investigation.

It is believed that these same suspects are involved in similar break-ins of SE Michigan pharmacies.
