Michigan Attorney General’s Office Civil Rights Division to Investigate Conduct of Royal Oak Police Officers in Recent Incident

LANSING, MI – Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel today directed her Civil Rights Division to investigate the conduct of Royal Oak Police in the detainment of Devin Meyers on Tuesday, August 13th, 2019.Devin Meyers

“The Civil Rights Division within the Michigan Department of Attorney General is investigating what occurred in Royal Oak on Tuesday,” said Nessel. “If ever there are concerns that the civil rights of Michigan residents have been violated, our office stands ready to investigate and pursue such matters.”
