Teen Robbed of Laptop and $400 in Cash during Armed Robbery at Oakland County Park

LEONARD, MI – On Sunday August 18th, 2019, at 4:25PM, Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Addison Oaks County Park on the report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.armed robbery

Deputies met with the 17-year-old young man, from Pontiac, who stated that he had been picked up in Oxford Township by two black men and a white woman who were in a blue Chevy Equinox.

The suspects drove him to Addison Oaks County Park where they parked their vehicle and walked back to one of the trails. The driver pulled a black pistol from his waist and robbed him of his backpack that contained a lap top computer and four hundred dollars in cash. The 17-year-old boy was struck in the face with the pistol.

The victim was acquainted with one of the three suspects, but only knew him as Eli.

The suspects fled eastbound on Romeo Rd driving away in the blue Chevrolet Equinox.

Oakland County Sheriff”s Deputies interviewed the victim and checked the surrounding area for the suspects and their vehicle but with no success. An informational bulletin was provided to area police agencies regarding the robbery.

The suspects are described as:

SUSPECT #1: 18-year-old black male, unclear on his residency.

SUSPECT #2: 18 to 19-year-old black male, 6’ 0” tall, unknown residency, and

SUSPECT #3: 17-year-old white female, approximately 5’ 9”, 160 lbs.

Detectives will be continuing with the investigation.
