DETROIT, MI – Detroit Police responded to a shots fired call at about 2:30AM in the 18000 block of Robson on Wednesday August 22nd, 2019.
Upon arrival, officers found that three people had been shot. One of those, a 27-year-old man, was dead at the scene.
A 26-year-old woman was also shot. Initially she was also considered to be deceased. Responding officers and medics performed life saving procedures and were able to bring her back to life. She was transported to the hospital where she remains in very critical condition.
A third victim, a 28-year-old man, was also shot but his injuries are considered to be non-life threatening. He had answered a knock at the front door and was met with gunfire. He was shot in the face and the mouth. He was taken to the hospital and is being treated.
