Dearborn Armed Robberies ends in 29-year-old’s Murder [Updated]

$2,500 reward offered for information that leads to an arrest

DEARBORN, MI – On Friday, September 6, 2019, between 9:30 pm and 10:00 pm in the area of Steadman and Morross officers responded to the area for an armed robbery.armed robbery

Later in the area of Bingham and Morross, Dearborn officers responded on report of a woman who was robbed at gunpoint. While responding, officers received an additional report of a man who was assaulted at gun point in the same general area.

The investigation on Bingham revealed that 29-year-old Saja Al-janabi was approached by multiple subjects on the street. She was subsequently shot during an apparent robbery. Al-janabi was transported to Henry Ford Hospital where she later died.

The suspects that approached the three separate victims are described as #1: male, short, wearing a white mask and wearing all black clothing. #2: male, tall, thin build, wearing all black clothing.

Chief Haddad stated, “These are the type of incidents that call for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects. Please check your home security videos that may contain valuable information to solve these crimes.”
