Mount Morris Township Man Charged with Flushing Party Store Armed Robbery

FLINT, MI – A Mount Morris Township man has been charged in connection to Thursday morning’s armed robbery of a party store in Flushing Township.Bear's Party Store

Quinton James Ralph, 35-years-old, is charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of assault related to the robbery of Bear’s Party Store at the corner of Elms and Coldwater roads in Flushing Township on September 5th, 2019.

According to police investigative reports, Quinton Ralph was wearing a face mask when he entered the store just after 7:30 AM on Thursday, September 5th. Ralph flashed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money from the store owner. The owner refused to give him any money and Ralph fled the scene and was apprehended later in the day. As part of the police investigation, a toy black plastic handgun was found in Ralph’s bedroom.

Armed robbery is punishable by up to life in prison or any term of years.

Quinton Ralph will be arraigned in 67th District Court and a preliminary examination will be scheduled.
