90 year old Struck and Killed in Allegan County

MANLIUS TOWNSHIP, MI – Troopers from the Michigan State Police Wayland Post investigated a fatal pedestrian / vehicle crash that occurred in Allegan County’s Manlius Township. fatal pedestrian crash

Troopers responded to a crash on Wednesday October 31st, 2019 at approximately 2:40 pm which occurred on 56th Street north of 128 th Ave.

Initial investigation revealed that while walking across 56th St., a 90-year-old Fennville resident was struck by a vehicle that was north bound on 56th Street. The vehicle was driven by a 28-year-old Fennville area resident.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation. Currently Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.

Troopers were assisted on scene by personnel from the Fennville Area Fire Department, Allegan County Sheriff’s Department, and AMR EMS.
