ROMULUS, MI – Terrance Oneal, 63-years-old, of Van Buren Township, is being accused for the murder of his wife last Tuesday and he is now charged in connection with the homicide of his wife, Belinda Oneal, 62-years-old.
The Oneal’s were both of Van Buren Township. On November 5th, 2019, at approximately 1:00 a.m., it is alleged that Mr. Oneal had a verbal argument with his wife and fatally shot her in their home located in the 7000 block of Fay Drive. Shortly thereafter he left the home in his car. At 1:30 a.m. the Van Buren Township Police investigated the scene and discovered the lifeless body of Mrs. Oneal on the second floor of the home. She died from a single gunshot wound.
At approximately 3:00 a.m., on the same day, Terrance Oneal was pulled over by police officers on I-94 in Berrien County and placed under arrest. Van Buren Township police were dispatched to the Berrien County jail and transported the defendant back to Van Buren Township.
The defendant has been charged with: Second Degree Murder and Felony Firearm.
