Detroit Police want to Identify East side Armed Robbery Suspect [Video]

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department needs assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a Family Dollar store robbery that occurred on the city’s east side.

On Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at approximately 1:48 p.m., in the 400 block of E. 7 Mile, an unknown black male suspect entered a Family Dollar, made a purchase and produced a weapon demanding money from the cashier.

At that time, the victim stepped away and the suspect reached behind the counter into the register taking an undisclosed amount of U.S currency. The suspect fled the location on foot heading westbound on E. 7 mile. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, medium complexion, 5’10, thin build, with a goatee. He was last seen wearing dark sunglasses, a black skull cap, with a dark colored zip up hooded jacket, and black pants.
